This course is designed to give a conceptual overview of Data Analytics and typical applications in your day-to-day work. Use this one-day training to discover and gain practical knowledge on data analytics and data visualisation techniques and tools :
  • Performing powerful data analysis and creating sophisticated data models;
  • Accessing data stored in various sources and reshaping them to your needs with an easy to use, engaging and no-code user experience;
  • Providing interactive visualisations and busi​ness intelligence capabilities;
  • Automating time-consuming manual data task. 


At the end of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the different capabilities of a number of foundational tools for data analytics and data visualisation skills;
  • Deal with data that is not yet formatted and turn it to usable (flat) format;
  • Create a standardised methodology for improved consistency and quality;
  • Understand the difference between Data tables vs. Lookup tables;
  • Create a clean workflow;
  • Combine multiple inputs from different sources;
  • Share and manage queries;
  • Build a data model, relationships and hierarchies;
  • Import and prepare large data sets.

Thierry is leading the Technology Consulting Services. He has over 20 years of experience in IT Strategy with a specific focus on the quality and efficiency of IT departments. He has managed numerous innovation and transformation programs and has also been involved in IT Risk and security projects. Thierry is leading the Data and Artificial Intelligence services.

Grégory Blachut, Director: 
Grégory has joined PwC internal IT department as an engineer in January 2005 and moved to the Governance Risk and Controls (GRC) department in November 2007 as an IT auditor. In 2012, Grégory created and developed the Forensic Technology department. As from 2015, Grégory has progressively created and developed the Data analytics & AI department of PwC Luxembourg; he is today the leading Director of the local team composed by more than 25 people (including 7 experts in data science) and is therefore regularly involved on analytics projects. Grégory is also heavily involved in the business development of his field.​
